I guess it's time to tell you about our most recent addition to the family. We haven't named her yet.
Just to make clear, we're talking about the house. After looking at some pretty abysmal rentals, we decided to purchase a home. It didn't come easy. Turns out, lenders really hate student loans. We were denied on a Monday and called back on a Thursday. Because of our stellar credit scores, and an amazingly kind loan officer at the credit union, the bank made an exception.
We closed today, and all is official. We own a home in Texas. I'm not sure why you would ever come to east Texas, but if you're in the neighborhood, you can crash at ours.
God is good!! I am so thankful for how he intervened and touched the heart of that staff member. Congratulations on your first home. Let the decorating begin!!!!!!!!!!!!
