The MUTO is the big alien creature from the 2014 Godzilla. I sketched a picture on paper, got the OK from Morley on design, cut out the silhouette in fruit leather, piped on the details, filled in between the details with black sugar, then slid in onto the cake. If I had to do it again, I would have piped the whole thing directly on. Thought I was saving myself time by using the fruit leather; I was so wrong.
That's right! I had forgotten and I even saw the film. That is a lot of work...but piping is pretty time consuming as well. However, the leather is a very nice touch and looks great. Great idea! You're so creative...fruit leather...I would have never thought of using it. :)
How did you do that cake??? I don't know who that character is but it looked great. Morley looked very happy too! A win for Mom!! :)
