When he started at LeTourneau, Jesse was told to get dental coverage through a private source. To be fair, the description of coverage was pretty terrible, but what they failed to tell him was that vision was bundled with dental coverage. After dropping a ton of money on an eye exam and two new pairs of glasses for Jesse, I decided that my eye exam can be put off for a bit longer. I also decided that when the time comes, there is no way that I will pay for new frames. So, when I found a pair of vintage frames for $15, I bought them.
They are definitely flashier than my current pair, but I like that the silver matches the streaks in my hair and that the grey aluminum has a violet tone to it. I can't really see what I look like with them on because they still have grandma's prescription (bifocals and really strong) in them. I think that's why I look slightly cross-eyed in the first picture.
I'll have to take some pictures of Jesse in his new glasses. Honestly, they were well worth the cost because they look great on him.
Cute!
ReplyDeleteSooo beautiful! What a great find. It's criminal how expensive glasses are isn't it?
