I did not take any pictures of the room before we started opening presents because we were less prepared this year than ever before. After a very long semester and difficulty finding our normal Christmas items (no Christmas pudding! no Christmas crackers!) we decided to embrace a smaller celebration. I decorated, but I didn't take everything out. Also, I let the kids do a lot of the decorating.
Poor Dashiell has been battling a cold, but he was able to make it through the morning.
