Here are this year's Halloween costumes:
She is wearing a dress, a skirt, and leggings under her costume. No reason, just because.
An argonaut and a skeleton. The only thing I had to do for Morley's costume was to draw and paint his shield and do some painting on the skull to make it look more menacing. Morley and Dashiell cut out the cardboard for the shield and sword.
For Eyvind's costume I had to add the white collar, make the cape, and attach the button on the front. The button on the front was actually done because there was a huge hole in the fabric which I hadn't seen when I bought it (thrift store purchase). I ended up using a dark blue ribbon to cover the hole, then used the button as decoration. It turned out to be a convenient way to attach the cape. Oh, and I had to do a really slap-dash hem job.
Dashiell's costume required that I make a white kilt out of an old skirt and make all the vinyl parts. It was an involved process.
I guess I should mention, she's Snow White.
LOVED all the pictures. The costumes are great!! Totally could tell that Eyvind was Snow White. :)
