We have two teenagers in the house. For the family birthday, Dash wanted the Dr Who symbol on his cake. For his celebration with friends, he wanted the Star Wars cake.
Probably not fair to take pictures at 6:30 in the morning, but it's a tradition to take a birthday breakfast picture.
Since none of their friends are familiar with Dr Who, Dashiell chose this cake. I made my own frosting this year (usually I just buy cans of frosting because I hate making it) and I found it much more difficult to work with. It tasted better, though.
